Players Miss War Mode From WW2 in CoD Vanguard

The new version of Call of Duty – Vanguard is set in World War 2 times, as in some of the previous games. Even though the studio decided to make such a throwback, this part brought some new and interesting features, which make it stand out from the others.

The most favorite additions right now are Patrol mode, MVP voting system after a match, and interesting and various customization options. They helped to diversify the standard gameplay of CoD, to which a lot of people had already gotten used to. But still, it doesn’t feel complete, so players decided to collectively try and resurrect one of the most interesting modes from Sledgehammer’s franchises – War Mode.

Everything started on the Vanguard subreddit, where users voiced their opinions. This mode consisted of several objectives and had heavy attack-and-defend mechanics, which made it so interesting for the players. It first saw light in CoD: WW2, and hadn’t been featured ever since.

Players go back to the memories of playing this event with a touch of nostalgia and warmth. A lot of people mentioned in the comments that they thought it had been the best addition among all of the games. Users really hope that the mode will return, as it has helped a lot of them to actually understand the events behind WW2.

Nevertheless, there are also those who doubt that it can happen. The main argument here is that the mode has had to have a lot of additional support and time, which the studio might not have now.

Players will be waiting for enlightening news because the chance can never be zero. A lot of updates are to come in the following years, so maybe the studio will consider the return of so missed mode. It is possible that Vanguard will feature War Mode at some point, but only time will tell.
