AI and Minecraft: Is It Possible

There are many things you can do on Minecraft, and personalized mods are not big news. Nevertheless, player Mysticat has achieved something completely outstanding by adding AI-generated parts to the game.

AI has become quite popular: we have all heard about Dall-E-2 and GPT-3. But apparently, you can take it to another level. Mysticat is usually busy with recreating real-life vehicles in Minecraft, but this time blogger has a bigger goal of connecting AI and Minecraft. They used several AI systems to change almost every part of the game: Soundraw created a new soundtrack, and Craioyn completed the project with bizarre textures.

What about the results? In the video, you can get the full size of the picture. The overall look of the game can sometimes be terrifying, and new unnerving faces on different mods don’t make it easier.  Moreover, the sounds don’t remind us of the gentle and calm atmosphere of Minecraft. In contrast, it feels like hell unleashed on your created world. Animals and flowers can scare you at night more than a zombie.

Even though it is quite a nightmare to witness, at least we know that for many years ahead, there is no need to worry about machine uprising. This is a good example of why we still prefer real people to create content: it makes the world around us exciting and easy to explore while keeping us involved.

Besides the new scary features created by AI, you can explore the latest updates of Minecraft with mighty Wardens, which can be dangerous even in normal settings. Besides, the Redstone community is still on the rise, so there is a lot of content you can find with amazing structures and algorithms.

Would you want to try AI-generated Minecraft? What other additions would be nice to see? Please, share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
