Among Us Finally Arrives on Consoles

Among Us, the most-downloaded mobile game in 2020, is finally making its way to PlayStation and Xbox Game Pass consoles. Following the game’s immense rise in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, Innersloth has been constantly enhancing the gameplay and now has developed an intention to expand its reach to as many platforms as possible. 

This Innersloth’s murder spree sim where players are on a mission to discover the imposter on their spaceship has lots of fans among PlayStation and Xbox enthusiasts. Finally, they get the chance to enjoy their long-anticipated game in their favorite way. The developer has already announced the release date, which is the same day on which it will be rolled out for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Keep reading for more details on the topic.

About a week ago, Innersloth announced that Among Us will appear on all the aforementioned consoles on December 14th. Good news is that all Among Us versions will offer crossplay, online multiplayer across smartphones, computers, and now consoles. Any edition will cost $5 to purchase. 

While Among Us may not be quite as big as it once was, it may get a huge boost of new players with this upcoming massive expansion. Its premiere on PlayStation and Xbox is sure to increase its audience even more. In the meantime, Innersloth has hinted that they’re collaborating with Epic Games on a brand new Among Us-inspired battle royale mode called Imposters. 

The game’s console editions have been a long time coming, at least there’s now some light at the end of this tunnel.
