Fans Love the New Minecraft Caves
Mojang has recently presented a new PC-oriented test for Minecraft: Caves and Cliffs, and we find that the game’s aficionados are seriously in love with it. The 1.18 version is highly experimental. It adds a lot to your creative tools and abilities as a player, enabling you to build realistic mountains and intricate cave structures.
Confusingly, some of these are referred to as cheese, noodles, and spaghetti. This has nothing to do with the type of resources you could generate there (although we have little doubt fans would love the Italian twist) but rather refers to the characteristiс oblong shapes offered by the new version. Other capabilities include impressive ore veins, lush and dripstone cave biomes plus further terrain variations, and more. Expect underground lava and water layers, too. According to Mojan’s designer MrHenrik2, the unusual decision to test the snapshot before it’s released to Java/Bedrock users is meant to enable thorough testing.
