Fortnite’s Build Mode Needs to Change

A Reddit user known as SirDuckDee has made a much-welcomed suggestion on Reddit as to how Epic Games can further improve its build mode. The main purpose of the proposed innovation is to make the process clearer to users. According to SirDuckDee’s idea, you should see your building blocks and those belonging to your opponents in different colors. This might spare you an unpleasant death after mistaking your wall for the enemy’s. The way the build mode is now, it is common for players to get confused and miss the fact that their structures have been taken.

We don’t know yet whether the innovation will be adopted. What we hope for is that Epic Games is keen on improving its popular project to prevent it from falling out of the fanbase’s favor. So far the company has made considerable effort to increase Fortnite’s appeal. Since a lot of users are likely to support SirDuckDee’s initiative, we (tentatively) expect to see it implemented at some stage.
