Google Play Pass Offers New Games and Apps

Every app store has a subscription plan that offers lots of games for a fixed monthly price. Apple Arcade is one example of this, and Google has Play Pass, a subscription that unlocks hundreds of games (and productivity apps as well) that otherwise would cost manyfold. In summer 2021, Play Pass roster gets some wonderful new titles.

RPG fans will be especially glad to see these names. They include a zombie-themed postapocalyptic Death Road to Canada, a treasure hunt in a fantasy land RPG Grinsia, a space-themed Space Raiders, and an Oriental adventure named Aeon Avenger (if you like anime-like visuals and aesthetics).

There are games for kids put in a separate section. This time they include a labyrinth Pango One Road and an edutainment piece Kiddopia, offering simple levels of math, grammar, shapes, colors, and other things. Given that Play Pass supports family plans, this section with games approved for kids makes much sense.

Casual games include puzzles like Timo – Adventure Puzzle Game, a simple and easy Puzzle Retreat, a pen-and-paper game gone digital Grids of Thermometers, a colorful adventure I Love Hue Too, and a paradise for word game fans, String of Words.  Other amusing titles include a crane simulator (The Little Crane That Could– a reference isn’t even hidden), a Tycoon-like Shiny Ski Resort, a collectible card game Brave Hand, and more.

There are also productivity apps. A photo editor PicLab is available with all the expansions and paid content (that would otherwise cost as much as a low-end smartphone). It will be a good addition to an already available set of productivity and creativity tools available under Play Pass. All these games and apps are available under a simple subscription that costs $5.99/month (or less per person if you use the advantages of a family plan).
