How to Get Spotify Wrapped in 2021

The sleigh-bells are ringing and carols are sung: as the year nears its end, you can retrieve your listening stats from Spotify. And we’ll show you how.

Spotify Wrapped is the annual event, during which you can learn what music was your soundtrack during the entire year.

Here’s you can get the stats:

• Mobile app. If you haven’t downloaded Spotify to your gadget — do this now. Wrapped will be available exclusively on mobile this year. The Wrapped link for other platforms doesn’t work anymore.
• Update. If you already have the app, but it got no updates for the past 6 months, update it to the latest version.
• Log in. And now, to learn about your music habits in detail, simply log in to your Spotify account from a mobile gizmo.

The feature will guide you through your music adventures of 2021 in a fun way. There will be opening credits, as well genres and artist names grouped according to how many times you’ve listened to their raps and croons.

Another cool thing is to know your personal champion song of the year. Spotify will inform which tune that was, how many times you’ve played it, and the overall amount of time that it’s been caressing your eardrums.

Finally, after you study the fun stats, the app will offer you to share this intel with the world. You can share your Spotify Wrapped results, designed as an album booklet, with your friends and family.

As for other Spotify news, the platform got rid of the Car View last November. It was a feature, appreciated by many, as it allowed manipulating the music app in a hands-free mode.

It’s suspected that feature got canceled to help Spotify’s Car Thing — a gadget that does the same thing as Car View — get more exposure on the market.
