September has arrived, bringing new exciting events, raids, and updates to the Pokémon Go table. Now’s the best time for trainers to explore what’s coming to the Pokémon mobile game in the new month. First and foremost, starting September 1, 2021, Pokémon game fans will be granted an encounter with Ditto (potentially Shiny Ditto!) whenever they complete a certain activity known as Research Breakthrough. Being the most evasive game character due to its skill of disguising itself as other Pokémon, Shiny Ditto is a very much sought-after creature of the game. Just to remind you that achieving a Research Breakthrough is possible after completing at least one Field Research task or seven different days (not necessarily in succession). 

Find the main principles of laying your virtual hands on a shiny Ditto below:

• if one of Pokémon that can potentially be Ditto (e.g. Drowzee) shows up in a shiny form as you try to catch it, this honey will not metamorphose into a Ditto;

• if you happen to succeed in finding a Pokémon which will change into a Ditto, then it will most likely become a shiny Ditto. Therefore, if you’re on the prowl for a shiny Ditto, then focus on snagging the regular forms of Pokémon that could be Ditto until you succeed in finding the illusory honey. 

And the Pokémon Go goodies in the mobile game don’t end there. The Raids for the new month have also been announced, bringing back some renowned Pokémon, such as Lugia, Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie. Furthermore, every week, game fans can claim one PokéCoin bundle featuring a Remote Raid Pass and more.
