Reddit Talk Will Now Include Even More Features

Twitter Spaces and Clubhouse seem to be getting a stronger competition with how fast Reddit Talk is developing. According to the recent announcement, the audio chatting service created by Reddit will now get recording and replay features. What is more, users will get an opportunity to take part in live audio conversations or simply listen to them using the computer browser. Before this update, Reddit Talk was available only for users of iOS and Android devices.

In addition to the mentioned updates, it will now be possible to use emojis and type text when an audio chat goes live. You can also easily see when certain talks are live by looking up the live bar option located at the top. Just as it was stated before, hosts and listeners now have an opportunity to record talks and listen to playbacks. It is easy to navigate the recordings by pressing the pause, skip, rewind, and other buttons.

According to Reddit, the desktop features now added to the service won’t be the only ones. Later this month, the company has plans to introduce the ability to start talks when you use a web browser. For now, users can join sessions and also raise a hand if they want to speak. The decision to add web features will certainly attract a greater number of users to the platform. 

If you are not too familiar with Reddit Talk, this service has been first introduced to the public in April of 2021. The developers of this audio platform have been hard at work adding new useful features to their product. The service is in direct competition with Twitter Spaces and Clubhouse, so it’s only natural that developers want to make sure that they stand out.
