Resident Evil Village Multilayer Available Again Tonight
Resident Evil is more alive than ever, and, along with its VR version that’s to be presented today, Capcom works at its new installment Resident Evil Village, an open world survival that takes Ethan Winters, the protagonist of Resident Evil 7, to a mysterious village somewhere in Europe. Not only him, though: in Deathmatch mode there will be a lot of adventures, and the last one standing wins.
The Deathmatch offers up to six players and requires no special software. Not only can the players use various weapons, but also become zombies after death which should provide more RE feel. Multiplayer is available from the official beta version of Resident Evil: Village. And you can download it on Steam for free. If you want to see it, hurry up until April, 29.Despite mostly negative reviews there, the developers suppose they will release a playable version in time and succeed to continue the cult series the way it deserves.
As for the VR version that’s also in development, it should have its own multiplayer as well. If it works the way it should, the VR installment of Resident Evil may become the breakthrough title for those not sold on Half-Life: Alyx.
