Revealing the future of Total War: Warhammer 3 - April 2023 DLC Revealed

Creative Assembly recently announced plans for upcoming content for Total War: Warhammer 3. This year, the game received two expansions, Immortal Empires and Champions of Chaos, offering a new Horde-style campaign and extensive narrative quests, respectively. Players have eagerly awaited news of future downloadable content - and now they know what to expect in April 2023.

Rich Aldridge, one of Creative Assembly's directors, revealed that over the past year, the development team has been focused on bringing Immortal Empires to its best state, as well as preparing for future downloadable content. While he didn't provide any details on these expansions, he did confirm that one of them will be available in April 2023, and the other two will be released later this year.

While details on exactly what these expansions may include, or even their titles or themes, are still scarce, fans have speculated that they may be related to the discovered voice files indicating the presence of Chaos dwarves in the game. This certainly makes sense, given that both previous additions were dedicated to introducing new characters and races into the game. There is also speculation that one of the add-ons could be related to a multiplayer mode in a shared world - this would be an interesting addition to an already exciting gameplay experience that already has plenty of replayability built into it.

Fans have also speculated that along with the paid DLC, we may see free updates as well. Perhaps these will include additional units or maps, as well as story content included in each expansion. In whatever form these expansions come out, players can rest assured that Creative Assembly intends to give them even more, to explore when Total War: Warhammer 3 is released in 2023!

What Total War fans can expect with the upcoming DLC is not yet known, but it promises to be a really interesting year! With three new expansions scheduled for release between now and the end of 2023, there's plenty of opportunity for interesting additions and surprises - only time will tell what's in store for us all!
