Sonic Origins Plus Rated in South Korea: What to Expect

Sega fans have eagerly awaited news of a new version of Sonic Origins, and it seems their wait is nearly over. The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has recently listed Sonic Origins Plus among its rating decisions. As Sega hasn't yet officially confirmed any such game, there's still no clear indication of what content will be included.

Given Sega's history with releasing "Plus" versions of games containing extra content, it's likely that this upcoming title will feature some additional features. For example, in 2018, they released a "Plus" edition of Sonic Mania which included a remixed Encore Mode and two new playable characters - Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Alternatively, it could be that instead of offering brand-new content for this Plus version, Sega may simply include all three DLC packs from the original release within one bundle featuring all necessary updates at once. This option was unavailable when Sonic Origins was first launched in June 2022.

The original game featured three separate downloadable content (DLC) packs costing around $5 each. They contained extra music tracks, character animations on the main menu screen, and hard missions for players to tackle if they wished to bump up their challenging level even more than before. So far, there has been no official confirmation whether these features will also be included with this newly rated "Plus" version - only time can tell!

Ultimately though, whatever form this upcoming title takes shape in remains unclear until Sega themselves makes further announcements – but whatever they decide to do, we’re sure it’s going to make many die-hard fans happy! With so much anticipation surrounding what promises to be an exciting new addition to the world of classic gaming entertainment, we can barely contain our enthusiasm for its release date - whenever that may happen!
