Telegram Introduces a Range of New Features during Its Second Spring Update
During its most recent big update, Telegram has received several useful features. Some of them can be accessed on Android devices while others are available only on iOS smartphones.
The first feature that needs to be mentioned has to do with notification sounds. Users now have an opportunity to have custom alerts, which they can make from memes or music tracks. It is even possible to turn a voice message sent into a custom notification, so there is a lot of space for creativity.
Next, users will now be able to set a specific duration for how long chats will be muted. In addition to choosing from the available options, you can set up the duration you want. You can mute notifications or disable sound for any chat that you have in the application.
Also, Telegram presented the Auto-Delete menu. With its help, users can decide after how many days or even months conversations in the app will be deleted automatically. This feature is available for both iOS and Android devices. Another useful feature introduced by Telegram is Replies in Forwarded Messages. Now when you forward messages to another chat, there will be a preview, which users can click to view the entire conversation. It’s also possible to hide the name of the sender.
When it comes to the feature exclusive to iOS, users of the app will notice better message translation in Telegram. The app will also support a larger number of languages, including Ukrainian. As for Android updates, users will now have an enhanced Picture-in-Picture feature. Thanks to this improvement, it will be possible to pinch the Telegram window and change the size.
