Adobe Photoshop Express is a free photo editing app available for both Android and iOS devices. It offers basic touch-up features like cropping, rotating, red-eye correction, and straightening. It also offers a wide variety of filters, frames, and effects. There is also a built-in auto-fix feature. You can share your photos to Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and YouTube.

Features

You can easily remove blemishes from your images, make other adjustments to lighting and color, and convert photos to black-and-white or sepia. You can also add artistic effects to images with Photoshop Express's selection of frames and filters.The app is free and is available through a number of different marketplaces.

Design

Adobe Photoshop Express design is good and encouraging to use but I would like to see changes in the design of the products. There are many tools that are hidden in menus and hard to find. For example, in the red-eye tool, part of it is in the menu and the other part is in the toolbar. You have to click menu, then click again on the toolbar. I would like to see all of the red-eye tool in the toolbar, the same with the other tools.

Usability

The usability is mediocre due to many tools being hidden in menus. This makes using the app a little bit tedious. For example, you can't copy and paste an image. You have to open the menu, select the "Edit" tool and then click on the image. To do the same thing in Photoshop, all you have to do is to press Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V. This behavior is typical for Windows 8 apps. The app also lacks a help section. The only way to get help is to use the search charm.

    Pros

    Free to use; Allows you to edit photos very quickly;

    Cons

    Not available on Windows devices; Need powerful hardware;

Conclusion

As far as free apps go, Adobe Photoshop Express is an excellent choice. It offers a wide variety of tools that will certainly help make your photos look better. The only problem is that many of the tools are somewhat buried in the menus, and the app lacks an in-app help option to teach you how to use the tools. It is worth checking out, though.
