The Walking Dead game is an action based on popular comic books and TV series set in the universe of Robert Kirkman’s comic books. The world is tearing apart by the undead, and your character Lee Everett receives a chance for redemption by saving young girl Clementine from monsters.

Graphics and Sound 10/10

The graphics of the game is simply awesome. It must be the main attraction to mention when you describe the game to anyone. You don’t just play in it, you are inside the great comic book and it changes up to your decisions. It deserves the highest scores.

Even if you are not a fan of the Walking Dead universe, the greatness of graphics, drawn with every small detail, astonishing. It may be not-cartoony bright, but this is what makes it even more credible. Sounds behind just add intensity, so your heart is racing faster with each new rustle behind.

Controls 10/10

There is nothing complicated in controlling the game. You just need to jump in and learn along the way. Mainly you will have to tap, choosing one option or another. Usually, it is only two choices offered and you have to decide. Don’t decide immediately, since all your choices have consequences.

You may control Lee's character by dragging a finger along with the screen and interact with people and different objects. You are in the middle of a zombie world, so it is just natural that once in a while you’ll have to kill some of them. Remember, a game wants you to be inventive in tense situations. Use any weapon you can find, swipe right, and bash the skull of the zombie.

Gameplay 9.5/10

The game is a beautifully made storybook and you are its author. The decision you constantly asked to make can bring you from chapter to chapter. In the end, you face the consequences of these decisions. Every detail in the story, every dialogue is a masterpiece.

Lee is not a simple character. He is a convicted murderer. And he has torn apart with guilt and desire to help a small orphan, Clementine. Now she is his main reason to survive, and every decision he takes is because of her. Remember that when you are choosing whom to save or make an alliance.

There are minor technical issues and bugs in the game. Textures might be flickering, crash bugs, and awkward animation if you have old device. And yet, even with these problems, the game is still one of the best.

Lasting Appeal 9/10

The game never gets boring. Mainly because every new choice leads to another twist in scenario. You can come back to the same moment in the game and choose another option. Now you will face other consequences. There is much attraction besides well-though scenario, like visual effects and easy controls.

    Pros

    Fascinating animation; Great storyline and dialogues;

    Cons

    Once you are in a game, it is hard to leave it; Minor bugs that can appear on older devices;

Conclusion

The Walking Dead: The Game is special in many ways. It is still the game, but also is a comic book that alive and changing any way you want it. The story is smart and complicated. The most important it makes you feel care like you really take part in all these events.
